Quento is an illustration studio proudly based in Oxford, UK. It was born from the stories unfolding around our home near Folly Bridge, a place where nature, movement, and everyday life intertwine. Surrounded by drifting punts, passing walkers, and changing seasons, we find endless inspiration in the scenes unfolding around us.
Quentin Crilly is our lead illustrator, a fine artist whose practice is rooted in careful observation. With a background in Fine Art and Illustration, and a Canadian-British perspective, he creates art that carries history, emotion, and narrative.
Maria Jarquin is the creative behind Quento, shaping each collection through concept and vision. She contributes to the studio on a voluntary basis, guided by a lifelong devotion to the arts, her background as a ballet dancer, and a deep connection to Oxford.
